Places To Visit...
We are located approximately three miles from Seaton and three miles from the picturesque sea side town of Lyme Regis.
There are many other local places to visit such as Charmouth, Beer, Westbay, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth, Branksome, Weymouth, Taunton and Exeter.
There are lots of places to visit locally beautiful coastal destinations or busy shopping days in easy to reach towns and cities.
We have many places of interest to visit such as Beer Caves, Crealy Adventure Park, Pecorama, Seaton tramway, Abbotsbury swannery and the famous Donkey Sanctuary to name just a few.
Coming soon is the Jurassic coast visitor centre which is currently under construction and we are only a short distance from River Cottage.
Westhayes Caravan Park has good transport links to and from the Park and easy access to local rail services, major roads and Exeter airport. We also have a bus service that drops off and collects at the entrance to the Park with time tables available from reception.
Westhayes Caravan Park is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty which provides for numerous walking opportunities. You can enjoy a walk along one of the many sea fronts and coastal footpaths along a river bank or a country walk through the Devon and Dorset countryside. There are walks for all abilities.
In the area we also have several National trust properties and gardens such as Bicton.
You can while away a sunny afternoon fossil hunting in Charmouth enjoying an ice cream at the cob in Lyme Regis. There are also lots going on in the local towns throughout the year such as Lifeboat week, air ambulance week, sandcastles on the beach, the folk festival at Sidmouth to mention a few.
